Mrs Thomas
Kia Ora! I'm Mrs Thomas!
My hobbies/interests are bridge, rock'n'roll, interior design and sewing. I really like being a Guidance Counsellor as when you work in a school setting there are fewer barriers to accessing your service. You also get to continue hearing about students' successes and achievements as they progress through the school even when they are no longer seeing you. |
Mr McNaught
Kia Ora! I’m Mr McNaught.
I’m married to Cleo and we have 3 young children. I love music, sport and spending time with friends and family. I am passionate about helping others, particularly young people. Through my upbringing I experienced many challenges, and now I consider it a privilege to be able to help and support those who are going through challenges of their own. |
Ms Cummings
Hi I’m Ms Cummings,
I really love to surf, going to the theatre and music concerts. Any time I can spend with friends is always a good time and a priority for me. Lastly, standing in the sun and just feeling its warmth. It reminds me to be in the moment and that it's the little things in our day that can have the most value. I enjoy listening to people's stories so they feel heard and understood. I like to help people figure out how they want to move forward and create a life that is based on their own values and of their own choosing. |
Mrs Lindsay
Hi I’m Mrs Lindsay!
I enjoy the outdoors - tramping, walks, getting out and about. I also enjoy creating - making yummy food, art, macrame, and I like growing food to eat. Maybe there is a theme? And reading a good book in the sunshine is another something I love doing. I enjoy being a counsellor because I can get to know people in a whole new light, and hearing people describe their story and what they have been, or are going through, can be really inspiring. Some people have massive challenges, and succeed despite the challenges. I also get a sense of pride when I am able to support someone through those challenges. Counselling is a very rewarding role. |
