- Deliberately harming another person physically or emotionally
- Misusing power in relationship
- Is not usually a one off and is constant and consistent
If you feel safe, here is some ways to handle bullying
- Walk away when bully approaches
- Concentrate on thinking about something else
- Yelling stop and walk away
- Be confident
- Be positive
- Be strong
- Talk to an adult about the problem who can help/step in
What not to do when being bullied
- Think it's your fault
- Fight back
- Bully them back
- Keep to yourself and hope it goes away
- Skip or avoid school
- Don't be afraid to tell anyone
- Hurt yourself
